The 5th annual Mitchell Cole Memorial Tournament is taking place this Saturday 13th May at the Armadillo Stadium, home of Arlesey Town FC.
Money will be raised for Cardiomyopathy UK, a charity which Mitchell worked closely with and helps those who suffer from Cardiomyopathy.
The day begins at 10am and will consist of a Six Team Tournament which involves the SSAFC along with supporter’s teams from Barnet, Cambridge, London Carlisle, AFC Wimbledon and a Cole XI. Mitchell's Brother, Ben will manage the Cole XI and will be made up of friends and family.
The games will last 21 minutes (Mitchell's shirt number at Stevenage) and the winners of the tournament will take home the Mitchell Cole Tournament Trophy, currently being held by Barnet.
Arlesey Town have kindly agreed to open the bar on the day so refreshments and food will be available to purchase.
There will also be various fundraising activities going on including the annual raffle which will have plenty of prizes up for grabs.
Last year's tournament saw a fantastic £2,000 raised which the SSAFC are hoping will be beaten this year with your support.
