IRO AND COWAN OUT ON LOAN

22 November 2012

With today [Thursday] the final day that players can move on emergency loan, Stevenage players Don Cowan and Andy Iro have secured short term moves away in order to gain match fitness.

Cowan, 23, has moved on a one-month deal to Blue Square Premier side Braintree Town, who currently occupy 22nd place in the division. The Iron will be hoping that the signing of the Irish striker will add some vital goals to the team.

Meanwhile Iro, who signed for the club in September, has moved to Barnet. Since his arrival he has trained hard as he tries to gain back his fitness. Now looking for first team experience, the Liverpool-born centre back will add strength to the Bees’ defence. His deal will run to January.
