Ashby-Hammond joined on loan from Fulham in June 2022 before signing permanently the following summer. The goalkeeper has since been ever-present between the sticks for Boro', and played a huge part in the club's promotion to League One in the 2023/24 campaign. Earlier in his career, Ashby-Hammond appeared for England at U16 and U17 level.
