The charismatic midfielder joined Boro ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, with plenty of EFL experience. MacDonald began his career as a youngster for Burnley, before featuring for Burton Albion, Oxford United, Mansfield Town and Gillingham. Stevenage’s number seven is capable of playing anywhere across the midfield and he scored his first Boro' goal via a stunning free-kick at home to Derby County.
