The Stevenage-born midfielder is incredibly versatile as he has been able to offer his services in a number of roles for Boro' when needed. Freeman signed from Wycombe Wanderers in the summer of 2023, where he spent seven years, making 147 appearances. His first goal for Stevenage saw him fire a stunning half-volley in off the crossbar away to Leyton Orient.
