Boro’s captain since signing in the summer of 2022, Piergianni is a regular in defence for Stevenage. Despite being a centre-back, the experienced defender netted eight goals in the 2022/23 promotion-winning season. He has worn the captain's armband through some of Stevenage's most memorable moments over the last couple of years, including that famous FA Cup victory over Aston Villa.
