Nathan Thompson arrived at The Lamex Stadium in the summer of 2023, alongside his brother Louis, with plenty of pedigree to his name. The intelligent defender spent nine senior years at Swindon Town before moving to Portsmouth where he won the EFL trophy and scored a goal in the Wembley final. He then enjoyed a four-year spell with Peterborough United before swapping Cambridgeshire for Hertfordshire.
