The brother of Nathan, who also signed in the summer of 2023, Thompson is a fierce competitor in the middle of the park. His list of former clubs is rather impressive, having played for Swindon Town, Norwich City, Shrewsbury Town, MK Dons and Portsmouth in the past. Thompson is eligible to play for Wales and appeared for the nation’s U21 side on two occasions.
